Do I need to do anything in preparation for my appointment?

Is laser hair reduction painful?
Laser hair reduction is almost painless although the pain perception depends upon individual threshholds.
Is Laser hair reduction permanent?
Laser hair reduction laser will reduce your unwanted hair over time. It works by making your hair thin and sparse. After 6-8 sessions you will see a significant reduction in hair which can then be kept at abeyance by maintenance sessions. But it will not eliminate hair and few of the hair tend to come back especially if one has PCOD/ hormonal issues.
